YA Got This! V2.0 – Back This September
A cosy, creative space to write the YA story that’s been living in your head.
Hi there!
A couple of months ago, I conducted a YA writing course called YA Got This. I wanted to work with a limited number of participants to talk about young adult fiction and how to write it and I got a lovely bunch of folks and I hope to see some fabulous writing emerge from their pens soon!
This newsletter is to announce the next batch of this course. It’s happening in September, every Saturday, from 10 am to 12 pm – Same cosy Saturday mornings, another small group of passionate writers, and the same promise: to help you tell your story your way.

Over 4 weeks, we’ll explore:
How to create YA characters that feel real and relatable
Plotting stories that keep readers hooked
Dialogue that sounds authentic (no cringey teen talk here!)
Writing with emotional depth that connects with your readers
It’s not just a class — it’s a space to share, learn, and grow your story alongside a handful of fellow writers, with personal feedback from me at every step.
Every Saturday in September
10 AM – 12 PM IST
Online on Google Meet
₹12,000 for the full course
Only 5-6 spots for a personalised learning experience
If you’ve been telling yourself, “One day, I’ll finally write that YA novel,” this is your sign. Register here.
In other news, I have a new novel out in September with Simon & Schuster. It’s a return to the sort of old-school romance that you all loved in More than Just Biryani, but it has a complex set of characters, a father you’ll want to hate but will feel sorry for, two mothers who are swept up in their own traumas and a tender love story at the centre of it featuring a young couple who are at odds with each other. And it’s set in the 90s! What’s not to love?
I’ll be sharing the cover and hopefully the pre-order link in the September newsletter. Do look out for it. The book is called Until We Meet Again.
In the meantime, if you’ve been thinking about writing your own story, the September batch of YA Got This! is the perfect place to start. Four Saturday mornings, a small and supportive group, and plenty of one-on-one feedback from me to help you shape your YA novel. Sign up here.
