Nothing yet

April 11, 2008 on 9:16 pm | In Writing |

I’m a little disheartened right now. But I shouldn’t be. Anyway, here’s the update on my novel, Kite Strings. Osians Literary Agency showed a lot of interest in my novel and today they replied. They can’t represent me, but they are very interested in representing me if I make some (a lot actually) revisions.

And even though the actual writing work is out of my way, this revising and editing is not something that I look forward to. However, it may be for the best of the novel. The only good thing is that they haven’t rejected it outright. They are waiting for me to send the revised novel.

So, until then, nothing yet…

  4. Do the revisions Andy. Since its not just one or two but many agencies/publishers that have told you this. You never know how much more brilliant your book might turn out with a little bit of rework. I reworked my Millizamo too. It’s probably that they know whats best for the market. I know when we write we write keeping our style and our ideas in mind. And if it was meant to be just for us, whatever we wrote would be just fine. But when it comes to publishing, we are connecting ourselve to the entire world, and sometimes we just might have to change our writing a bit to suit it with what the world wants to read. :) Love, take care, and see what u can do with your words. Dying to see your book on paper!
